Red Raptors soar to victory in IDAK KDD Bowling Tournament

KUWAIT CITY, May 5: The IDAK KDD Sports Championship 2024-25 continued impressively with the highly anticipated IDAK KDD Bowling tournament, held on Friday, May 3rd. With over 160 players participating, the tournament showcased the competitive spirit and sportsmanship of the members of the Indian Dentists’ Alliance in Kuwait (IDAK) and their families and concluded with the triumph of the Red Raptors.
Under the expert leadership of Dr. Eldho George and Dr. Renjit George, the IDAK Sports Committee orchestrated a flawless event at the Kuwait Bowling and Sporting Club in Salmiya.

Dr. Harish Dattada’s stellar performance earned him the title of the tournament’s best player, highlighting the exceptional talent on display.
Led by Dr. Rupesh Harikrishnan and Dr. Ranjitha R S, Team Red Raptors dominated the competition, clinching the team championship title with finesse. Meanwhile, the Blue Phoenix team, captained by Dr. Joe Daniel and Dr. Jyothy Kuriakose, secured the Runners Up cup in the tightly contested three-way battle, edging out the Green Dragons, led by Dr. Ashwin Sudhesh and Dr. Remya Mathew.

Marking the completion of the Championship’s first quarter, Team Blue Phoenix takes the lead in the two-year-long IDAK KDD Sports Championship 2024-25, setting the stage for an exhilarating journey ahead.

IDAK President Dr. George P Alex commended the Sports Committee for their meticulous planning and execution, emphasizing the importance of such events in fostering camaraderie and strengthening relationships among members and their families. Mr. Anand Harith, Manager of Business Systems at KDD, presented the trophies to the Winners and Runners-Up. General Secretary Dr. Jijan Sam Thomas, took the opportunity to extend his gratitude to the Kuwait Bowling Club, Title sponsors KDD, and Co-sponsor Al Mulla Exchange Company for their unwavering support.
