KUWAIT CITY, May 24: Today evening, His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, conducted a surprise security inspection at the prison complex. He was accompanied by Major General Abdullah Saffah Al-Mulla, the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Private Security Affairs.
The Special Security Forces, in cooperation with the Prison Security Administration, launched an unexpected inspection campaign targeting inmates in correctional institutions and the central prison wards. This operation led to the discovery of numerous contraband items, including mobile phones, cables, and white weapons, which were cleverly concealed. The confiscated items have been handed over to the appropriate authorities, and necessary legal actions are being taken.
