Kuwait gymnastics team gears up for the tournament.

WARSAW, May 2: The junior women’s rhythmic gymnastics team delegation embarked on a journey to Warsaw to gear up for the Polish International Gymnastics Championship. The tournament commenced yesterday and will run until the following Sunday.

Comprising seven talented gymnasts, including Sarah Al-Bannai, Layan Behbehani, Amina Al-Kandari, Talia Behbehani, Nabila Al-Kharafi, Raya Al-Qassar, and Al-Jazi Al-Haroun, the national team delegation is under the leadership of Souad Al-Kandari, a member of the Women’s Committee in the Gymnastics Federation. Assisting her is the team’s manager, Lujain Al-Asfour, alongside Ukrainian coaches Irina Kovalchuk and Victoria Vysyuk.

The participation of the junior girls’ team in this championship aligns with the federation’s strategy to enhance the skills of female players by exposing them to diverse and advanced training environments in rhythmic gymnastics. With aspirations for top rankings in the tournament, the federation aims to bolster the players’ confidence on the international stage.
