KUWAIT CITY, Nov 23: The inaugural festival for rhythmic gymnastics academies, organized by the Kuwait Gymnastics Federation, is set to commence today at 12:00 noon in the Kazma Club hall. The event anticipates broad participation from players representing academies officially affiliated with the federation. Fatima Hayat, a member of the Board of Directors of the Olympic Committee and Head of the Women’s Sports Committee, will be the esteemed patron of the festival. A total of 54 players from Gymnastics, Akro, and Salto academies, along with Quick Steps, will be showcasing their talents.

The federation underscored the festival’s purpose, emphasizing the creation of genuine competition opportunities among players to enhance their skills and accumulate valuable experience. Furthermore, the festival aims to set the stage for the upcoming launch of a rhythmic gymnastics league exclusively for girls.

Expressing gratitude, the federation extended sincere thanks to Fatima Hayat for her commitment to this sport and her sponsorship of the festival. It affirmed ongoing efforts to elevate the sport, with a commitment to officially organize competitions and enhance the overall gymnastics experience.
