KUWAIT CITY, May 7: Bashar Abdullah, the Deputy Director of the General Sports Authority for Competitive Sports Affairs, warmly welcomed a delegation from the Gymnastics Federation, along with Nour Al-Razihan, a national rhythmic gymnast, to his office at the Authority’s headquarters. Nour recently achieved a notable milestone for Kuwaiti gymnastics by securing the eighth position in the 20th Asian Championship held in Uzbekistan.
Abdullah commended Nour's dedication and her outstanding performance in the championship, encouraging her to continue striving for excellence in future competitions. He reiterated the Authority's unwavering support for her and all exceptional athletes representing Kuwait on the international stage.
Expressing gratitude, Abdullah extended thanks to Nour's family and the Gymnastics Federation for their steadfast support. He also lauded the efforts of Fatima Hayat, the head of the Women’s Sports Committee in the Olympic Committee, for her commitment to enhancing women’s sports.
Abdul Latif Murad, the Secretary General of the Gymnastics Federation, conveyed appreciation to Abdullah for the warm reception and the ongoing support extended to the Federation and its members.
