RIYADH, March 13 : The Saudi Ministry of Health said Friday morning that 17 more people tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing to 62 the total number in the Kingdom.
One of the new cases is a community transmission in the capital city of Riyadh, and another involves an expatriate who returned recently from Portugal via Turkey, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing a statement by the Ministry.
The other cases involve a female citizen who returned from Iran via Oman, a female returnee from Turkey via Lebanon and two female returnees from Iraq.
Besides, eleven Egyptian expatriates have also tested positive for the virus after being in contact with an Egyptian patient in Makkah city, the statement added (KUNA)
