Jeddah, Sep 13: The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) on Monday issued new instructions to all airlines working at the kingdom’s airports for fresh measures for arrivals and institutional quarantine. The authority said in a statement that passengers who have got a single dose of the kingdom’s approved vaccines must show a negative PCR document 72 hours ahead of arrival, and be subject to a five-day institutional quarantine, in addition to two PCR tests within five days of arrival.

Those who have got one of the vaccines which are not approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the kingdom, or got one of the vaccines licensed by the WHO but unapproved in the kingdom, must have a negative PCR document, undergo a five-day institutional quarantine and conduct two separate PCR tests within five days of arrival, it elaborated.
