Saudi Found Murdered In Hotel Room

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 29: A 28-year old Saudi national was found dead inside a hotel room in Farwaniya area with his hands tied together with an electric cable, says Al-Seyassah daily. According to security sources, when the Operations Room received information about a foul stench emitting from a hotel room in Farwaniya area, securitymen rushed to the location and forced open the door to the room which was locked from the inside. They found the corpse near an electrical outlet with his hands tied together with an electric cable. Investigations have been launched to solve the murder case and arrest the culprits.

12 held for murder: The Farwaniya police have arrested 12 persons of various nationalities on suspicion of killing an Indian, whose remains were found adjacent to the Jleeb Al- Shuyoukh Communications Center on Sept 9, reports Al-Rai daily. The victim bore five stab wounds. All those arrested have a criminal past and are being held for interrogation.

Minor girl abducted: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti for kidnapping a compatriot minor girl, reports Al-Rai daily. A security source said the arrest came after a Kuwaiti, the elder sister of the victim, informed the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior. She also said the suspect, who was armed with a knife, may have taken her sister to an apartment in Salmiya, and gave police the address of the apartment. When police knocked at the door, the suspect answered and he was reportedly under the influence of alcohol. Police also seized from him the knife and referred the girl who had bruises on her body to a hospital.

3 kidnap Sudanese: An unidentified Sudanese has filed a complaint with the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh police accusing three people — two Kuwaitis and an Indian whom he knows — of kidnapping him, reports Al-Rai daily. The men then reportedly took him to the headquarters of the company he works in Mahboula and assaulted him. Police found out the complainant had been reported absconding by his sponsor and referred him to the authorities.
