Egyptian tutor molests girl

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 21: The mother of a female student filed a case against an Egyptian tutor who allegedly molested her daughter during a tutorial session in Farwaniya.

A security source revealed the mother contacted the suspect to teach her daughter at home. However, she was surprised when she heard her daughter screaming while the tutorial session was ongoing. The daughter then informed her mother that the tutor touched the private parts of her body. The mother immediately informed securitymen who arrested the tutor and referred him to the concerned security department.

Kuwaiti killed in accident: A Kuwaiti died when his car overturned on the Abdali Road, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, this happened when the victim accompanied by his driver was on his way coming from his farm in Abdali and saw a woman in her car stranded on the road because she had run out of fuel near the Abdali farms. He drove her to the nearest gas station and while returning to her car, the driver lost control of the vehicle, the vehicle overturned and the man behind the wheel died on the spot. Passersby who saw the mishap informed the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior and paramedics and police who rushed to the spot referred the woman who was injured to the intensive care unit of the Jahra Hospital. The remains of the citizen have been referred to Forensics.

Meanwhile, the remains of an unidentified 42-year-old woman who died in her room in Waha have been referred to Forensics, reports Al-Anba daily. According to a security source, the deceased was staying alone in the house. Initial reports show the death was natural.

 ‘Campaigns to continue’: The Public Relations Department at Kuwait Municipality has affirmed the continuation of inspection campaigns carried out by supervisory bodies at the Farwaniya branch of the Municipality in Jleeb  Al-Shuyoukh to track down those who violated laws , reports Al-Anba daily. 

These campaigns include inspection of real estates, commercial shops and markets, as well as removing encroachments on State properties. Director of the branch Eng Ahmad Al-Hazeem disclosed the Public Sanitation and Roads Works Department recorded 20 violations – 10 related to public sanitation, seven encroachments and three road works.  This is in addition to removal of 115 cubic meters of debris, he concluded.
