KUWAIT CITY, April 3: The Court of Cassation has upheld the ruling of a lower court that previously sentenced an Egyptian Quranic therapist (faith healer) to five years in prison, followed by deportation, for assaulting three Egyptian underage girls in his apartment in Mahboula, reports Al-Rai daily. Case files indicate that the accused deluded the three underage girls into believing they needed legal ‘ruqyah’ and that he would treat their injuries. The father of the three girls visited the accused in his apartment in order to read the legal ‘ruqyah’ on his daughters to rid them of envy, evil eye and touch. However, the father was surprised when his daughters got out of the treatment rooms crying and informed him that the therapist carried out immoral deeds and harassed them
