Egyptian Coach gets 5-years in jail for molesting girl in gym

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 27: The Court of Cassation yesterday sentenced an Egyptian coach of a foreign school to five-year imprisonment followed by deportation, for molesting an expatriate teenage girl student in the gym of the school. According to the case files, the Public Prosecution charged the coach with molesting the student in the gym by touching her inappropriately and trying to kiss her.

The student’s father explained in his complaint that his daughter arrived home in an abnormal state and burst into tears when he asked her. She then revealed what her teacher did to her in the gym. Records of the school’s surveillance cameras confirmed that the accused had committed his act. It is noteworthy that the Court of Appeals had sentenced the accused to ten years of imprisonment with hard labor.
