Bangladeshi drug peddlers gang nabbed

KUWAIT CITY, March 19: A gang of Bangladeshi nationals was arrested by security operatives for trafficking in illicit drugs. Public relations and Media Security Department stated that officers from the Residency Affairs Department received information about the activities of a Bangladeshi gang peddling in narcotics and conducted necessary investigation to verify the information.
Guarded by search and arrest warrant, the officers apprehended six suspects in possession of illicit drugs and related equipment. Initial investigation revealed that all suspects had violated residency law and with various cases registered against them. They were referred to concerned authorities.
