KUWAIT CITY, Dec 25: The General Administration for Narcotics Control successfully gathered information about a Bangladeshi engaged in the possession, trafficking, and abuse of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. After conducting thorough investigations, collecting intelligence, and monitoring the suspect's activities, authorities secured the necessary permission from the Public Prosecution to effectuate an arrest in the Salmiya area.

Upon searching the suspect's residence, law enforcement uncovered a significant stash, including 35 kilograms of hashish, 20,000 Lyrica pills, 1 kilogram of opium, 10,000 methadone pills, 150 grams of Shapo, and 50 grams of heroin. Confronted with the seized items, the individual admitted ownership with the intent of trafficking. Subsequently, he is being referred to the appropriate authorities for necessary legal actions.

The General Administration of Security Relations and Media underscores the ongoing efforts of security personnel across all relevant sectors in combatting drug dealers and their various tactics. The Ministry urges the public to cooperate with law enforcement, encouraging the reporting of any suspicious activities through the emergency phone (112) and the General Anti-Narcotics hotline (1884141).
