Pakistani and a Bangladeshi caught running call center, brothel

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 9: A Pakistani man took refuge in a flat used for illegal international phone calls and immoral activities to implicate his Bangladeshi accomplice while security operatives were chasing him. The duo was arrested eventually, reports Al-Rai daily.

A security source said a patrol team on a round of Farwaniya area aroused suspicion of a man trekking by the roadside and approached him for checking. He claimed to have forgotten his card at home when they asked for his ID.

Consequently, the officers ordered the suspect to enter the patrol car for verification of his identity at the police station. To their surprise, he took to his heels. They chased him to a bachelors’ accommodation and discovered the place was serving as illegal international call center and prostitution den. They also learnt that a Bangladeshi man was running the place together with the suspect who fled. The duo was referred to the Public Prosecution.
