Municipality okays new parking space for Jahra Equestrian Club

KUWAIT CITY, April 13: Kuwait Municipality approved the request of the Public Authority for Sports (PAS) to allocate surface for parking in front of the Jahra Equestrian Club with dimensions of approximately 450mx17.50m and an area of 7,875 square meters, according to the coordinates shown in the sketch attached to the transaction, and linking them to the existing parking lots within the boundaries of the equestrian club. The technical opinion for the transaction approved by the Director General of the Municipality Saud Al-Dabbous stipulated adherence to the requirements contained in the responses of the members of the Public Services Facilities Subcommittee at its meeting held on March 14, 2024, and coordination with them before implementation.

The most prominent among them is the confirmation of the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources to maintain distance from the agricultural and irrigation project on both sides of the road, which is 100 meters away from the right of way and 120 meters wide, as well as the necessity of keeping distance from the project boundaries by 10 meters on both sides, making minutes of a meeting before starting the work, and coordinating with the engineer responsible for the site.

n addition to this is the requirement of the General Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior to provide it with detailed plans showing the entrances and exits to and from the project for study. The administration is also authorized to modify the dimensions and area of the parking lots to no more than the designated spaces, if it conflicts with any existing infrastructure services or any regulatory reasons during installation.
