Kuwaiti held over KD 75,819 financial cases; Bangladeshi for KD 37,000

KUWAIT CITY, April 2: A Kuwaiti citizen, who is wanted by law for his involvement in several financial cases worth a total of KD 75,819, was arrested and referred to the concerned department for necessary legal action against him. Meanwhile, a Bangladeshi expatriate who is wanted by law for a financial claim worth KD 37,000 was arrested in Mahboula area, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were at a security checkpoint when they stopped a Bangladeshi expatriate and discovered that he did not have his civil ID. When he ran, securitymen chased and eventually caught him. When they later checked his records and fingerprints, they discovered that he is wanted by law. They referred him to the Sentences Enforcement Department.

‘Egyptian shot by mistake’: Securitymen shot an Egyptian pedestrian on the leg by mistake while chasing drug dealers in Salmiya area, reports Al-Shahed daily.
