‘Horizons of Culture and Enlightenment’ at Kuwait University

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 26, (Agencies): In alignment with the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature’s commemoration of the 50th anniversary of its establishment and the 100th anniversary of the birth of the esteemed poet Ahmed Al-Adwani, the Cultural Committee of the Arabic Language Department at Kuwait University’s (KU) Faculty of Arts is set to host a comprehensive cultural symposium. The symposium, titled “Horizons of Culture and Enlightenment,” is scheduled to take place on Wednesday at 12 noon in Sabah Al-Salem University City, situated in the Al-Shaddadiyah area. The event will be held in the Faculty of Arts (South Building), specifically in Hall No. (2135) on the ground floor.

Distinguished speakers, including Dr. Khalifa Al-Waqyan, Sulaiman Al-Askari, and Dr. Sulaiman Al-Shatti, are slated to participate in the symposium. The session will be expertly presented by Dr. Nouriya Al-Roumi. This cultural initiative seeks to engage participants in thoughtful discussions and explorations of various cultural and enlightening perspectives, contributing to the intellectual vibrancy of the academic community at Kuwait University.
