Kuwait's Public Authority for Agriculture and Fish Resources. Inset: Asmaa Al-Otaibi

KUWAIT CITY, May 18: Asmaa Murshid Al-Otaibi, the Acting Director of the Public Authority for Agriculture and Fish Resources, has announced the formation of a dedicated team to scrutinize the educational certificates of the Authority’s employees, both citizens and residents.

In a statement to Al-Rai, Al-Otaibi revealed that the newly established team is set to convene next week to determine the procedure and timeline for receiving academic qualifications. “The team’s mandate is for three months,” Al-Otaibi stated, adding that all employees of the Authority holding academic qualifications above high school level, obtained from January 1, 2000, to the present, must submit a scanned copy of their qualifications. These documents must be accompanied by an equivalency certificate issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, following the stipulated regulations.

Al-Otaibi urged all employees to comply with this directive, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the decisions of the Civil Service Commission. She highlighted that failure to submit the required documentation could lead to consequences enforced by the relevant authorities.

This initiative underscores the Authority’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of its workforce by ensuring that all educational credentials meet the necessary standards and regulations.
