KUWAIT CITY, April 30: In a pivotal session set for tomorrow, Wednesday, the Kuwait University Council is slated to delve into significant academic matters, including the adoption of an artificial intelligence policy and the equivalence of international test scores, among other crucial topics.

According to a reliable source disclosed to Al-Rai, the meeting, under the stewardship of Dr. Nawaf Al-Mutairi, Acting Director of Kuwait University, and attended by esteemed members of the University Council, will scrutinize various agendas. Foremost among these is the elevation of several faculty members, the formulation of an artificial intelligence policy tailored for Kuwait University, and deliberation on aligning international test scores with academic grading, particularly in English language proficiency assessments.

The source emphasized that the council will also address proposals concerning the academic calendar for the forthcoming academic year 2024-2025. Furthermore, it will assess the viability of establishing a specialized medical center to cater to the needs of the Sabah Al-Salem University City campus.
