3 female students make a mark for Kuwait University at SIFA

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 24: A prominent delegation from Kuwait University’s College of Pharmacy, led by the Acting Dean, Prof. Dr. Maytham Khaja, recently took part in the clinical skills competition for pharmacy students at the Saudi International Conference for Pharmaceutical Sciences (SIFA) in Riyadh. The delegation included notable female students, Juri Al-Rukaibi, Shouq Al-Adhan, and Dima Al-Hajri.
In a noteworthy achievement, the female students contributed to Kuwait University’s qualification for the final rounds of the competition, surpassing 36 participating universities from Saudi Arabia, the Gulf, and the Arab region, underscoring the distinguished academic prowess of Kuwait University students on the global stage. Ten other universities also secured qualification.
The clinical skills competition, held on the sidelines of the SIFA activities, provided a platform for pharmacy students to showcase their expertise and compete with peers from various renowned institutions. Kuwait University’s success in reaching the final rounds reflects the institution’s commitment to maintaining a high academic standard and participating actively in international forums.
