KUWAIT CITY, March 10: The Kuwait Winter Games Club officially declared its readiness to host the 2024 International Ice Hockey Federation World Championship (IIHF) Division 4 in April. The tournament will feature the participation of teams from Mongolia, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the host country, Kuwait.

Khaled Al-Mutairi, Vice President of the Kuwait Winter Games Club, conveyed in a statement to KUNA that the club is currently undertaking comprehensive maintenance for the ice rink, changing rooms, and medical clinic to align with the stringent requirements of the IIHF. He emphasized that these maintenance efforts are geared towards presenting the tournament in the best possible light, showcasing Kuwait’s commitment to the sport of ice hockey.

Al-Mutairi highlighted the enthusiasm and seriousness of the Kuwaiti team regarding the upcoming tournament, stating that the team is poised to engage in training camps as a crucial component of their preparation for the championship.
