KUWAIT CITY, June 11: The State Ministry for Services has exempted ordinary employees and supervisors who have been in service for more than 25 years from the fingerprint attendance system, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources.

Sources confirmed the decision applies to all employees – whether they are assigned in the internal or external sectors – according to the directive of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) to allow exemption of certain staff from the fingerprint attendance system. Sources explained the specialized units in the Administrative Affairs Department will prove the attendance of employees covered by the decision.

Sources added the decision includes a stipulation exempting employees with severe disability from signing the attendance sheet provided they submit an official letter from the Public Authority for Handicapped Affairs (PAHA).
