KUWAIT CITY, April 27: The Zain League first division competition faces a pivotal moment as Yarmouk clashes with Sulaibikhat at Abdullah Al-Khalifa Al-Sabah Stadium, while Burgan pays a visit to Al-Tadamon. Both matches are scheduled at 6:55 pm.

Currently, Yarmouk leads the standings with 27 points, followed by Al-Tadamon in second place with 25 points, and Al-Sahel in third with 21 points. Burgan sits in fourth with 10 points, while Sulaibikhat holds the fifth and final spot with six points.

Yarmouk, Al-Tadamon, and Al-Sahel are vying for the two qualification spots in the Premier League. Yarmouk needs just one point to secure their qualification officially, while Al-Tadamon requires three points to solidify their spot. Al-Sahel, though absent from this round, holds onto a slim hope for qualification. They rely on the leaders to falter, especially Yarmouk, who trails by a significant margin and has also played one less match.

Yarmouk aims for a third victory over Sulaibikhat, having previously won 2-0 and 1-0, with a draw (1-1) in the last three encounters. This task seems relatively straightforward given the lack of motivation for Sulaibikhat, who are struggling at the bottom of the standings.

In the second match, Al-Tadamon seeks a second victory over Burgan after a 3-2 win in the initial encounter, with two subsequent draws at 1-1. A victory here would secure their qualification.

Meanwhile, Burgan endeavors to make a lasting impression before concluding their campaign in the league.
