KUWAIT CITY, April 27: MP-elect Jenan Bushehri criticized the Ministry of Health’s announcement about the availability of medicines, stressing this is far from reality as the shortage of medicines has become the concern of patients. Bushehri said the 2022 and 2023 parliaments raised this issue, but the parliamentary Health Affairs Committee did not complete its report on the issue due to the health minister’s lack of cooperation in providing the required documents. She pointed out the minister has been proven to be incapable of addressing the issue, claiming the minister is part of the problem. She vowed to closely follow up the issue to guarantee the availability of medicines.
