Civil Service declares Isra and Mi’raj holiday on Feb 8

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 15: In an official announcement, the Civil Service Commission has declared a suspension of work across all ministries, government agencies, public bodies, and institutions on Thursday, February 8, in observance of the Isra and Mi’raj anniversary. The decision aims to facilitate the celebration of this religious occasion.

The Civil Service Bureau, in a statement released yesterday, outlined that regular working hours will resume on Sunday, February 11. Additionally, it clarified that entities and agencies with a unique nature of work are entrusted to determine their vacation schedules by the broader public interest.
