KUWAIT CITY, May 7: The Court of Appeals ordered the arrest of a brigadier general and a lieutenant colonel in the Juvenile Investigation Department who were sentenced to four years in prison with hard labor on charges of torturing and manhandling two teenagers when referring them to the Central Prison. The court scheduled a session for May 21 to decide on the case. The Public Prosecution charged the defendants with torturing and beating the two teens in order to force them to confess and give statements and information related to a felony case. The teenagers told the investigators that they do not remember the circumstances of a video clip related to the case that was shown to them.
