KUWAIT, March 23 (KUNA) : Bahrain and Qatar reported Monday a surge in the number of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infections.
Qatar's Ministry of Public Health announced that seven people tested positive for coronavirus today, bringing the overall number up to 501.
In a press statement, the Health Ministry of Bahrain confirmed new 38 infections taking the overall tally up to 211.
It pointed out that 208 cases are in stable conditions while were moved to intensive care units.
