WHO chief praises Bahrain’s efforts against covid

MANAMA, July 25: Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), on Sunday lauded Bahrain’s measures against the novel coronavirus. The official Bahrain News Agency said the WHO chief lauded the kingdom’s speedy response to the international organization recommendations on the occasion of opening an office for it in the Gulf country. The news agency said the Health Undersecretary, Dr. Walid Al-Manea, briefed the WHO chief about the precautionary measures against the pandemic.(KUNA)
