Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr set for the King’s Cup final

RIYADH, May 2: For the sixth time in the tournament’s history, Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr will face off in the final of the King’s Cup.

Al-Nasr secured its spot in the final after defeating Al-Khaleej 3-1 in the semi-final, marking its 15th qualification for the final. The yellow team has claimed the title six times, with its last victory dating back to 1990.

Al-Hilal, on the other hand, earned its place in the final by defeating Al-Ittihad. The clash between Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr marks their sixth encounter in the tournament’s final round.

Their previous meetings in the final occurred in 1981, 1987, 1989, 2015, and 2020. Al-Nasr emerged victorious in the first two encounters, while Al-Hilal claimed victory in the last three matches.

As anticipation builds for the final showdown, both teams are poised to deliver an exhilarating display of football prowess in their quest for the prestigious title.
