Yemeni enters Kuwait in vegetables truck

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 7: A Yemeni expatriate was arrested in Khaitan area for entering the country illegally, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to security sources, when Farwaniya securitymen received information about the illegal arrival of a Yemeni expatriate and that he is staying in one of his relatives’ apartment in Khaitan area, they arrested the suspect in a trap. When questioned, he confessed that he entered via the land border by hiding in a truck filled with vegetables for which he paid the driver 4,000 SAR. He was referred to the General Department for Residence Affairs for necessary legal action against him.

Ten-crime citizen: A young Kuwaiti citizen was arrested for committing ten crimes related to driving away with vehicles that were left in front of shops with the keys on them, reports Aljarida daily. According to security sources, several complaints were received about the auto thefts along with a report of an eyewitness who saw the thief drive away with a vehicle which was parked in front of a grocery store. Salmiya securitymen arrested the suspect while he was driving down a road in Salmiya area. When questioned, he admitted to committing ten auto thefts and abandoning the vehicles after using them until they broke down. He was referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.
