MoD handball team win Cup

The Handball Team of Ministry of Defense won the cup of the Ministries and State Bodies 2016/2017 League, which has concluded in the Shahid Fahad Al-Ahmed Hall in Da’iya area. Five teams representing National Guard, Ministry of Defense, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate, Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Education took part in the handball competition.

The team of Ministry of Defense managed to win all the matches they played. The team of National Guard came second followed by the team of Ministry of Education in third place, the team of Ministry in fourth place and the team of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate in fifth place.

This is the second time the Ministry of Defense Team are winning the league. A member of the Supreme Committee of Ministries’ Sport and Head of the Grounds Department at Public authority for Sports Ahmed Al-Sayegh, and the Head of the Technical Committee for Ministries Handball Abdullah Al- Zayab honored the top three winning teams.
