Lebanese army kills, injures scores of IS

BEIRUT, Oct 17 (KUNA) — The Lebanese army bombed locations of so-called Islamic State (IS) in the outskirts of Qaa and Arsal, as well as in Ras Baalback, killing and injuring a scores of terrorists, Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) said on Monday.
The army continued bombardment of IS positions until the evening, after receiving information on suspicious movement by the group.
Early morning, the army said one military officer was killed in clashes inside Arsal town, while local media reported the killing of two IS members.
