Egyptian Guilty of ISIS Recruitment in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 15: The Court of Appeal has handed down a verdict against a 30-year-old Egyptian expatriate who works as a civil engineer on the new Kuwait Airport project. The individual has been found guilty of disseminating ISIS propaganda through self-produced video clips shared on social media. The court has sentenced him to five years of imprisonment with hard labor and ordered his deportation upon completion of the sentence. The charges include inciting individuals, including minors from various nationalities, to join ISIS, with the incidents occurring in a Salmiya mosque. Despite the allegations, the accused denied the charges during the court proceedings
