Kuwait University to terminate 56 non-Kuwaitis

KUWAIT CITY, March 21: Secretariat-General of Kuwait University has requested the concerned department to prepare the names of 56 non-Kuwaiti employees of the university to terminate their services in the course of fiscal year 2016/2017, reports Al-Qabas daily.
It added an official letter dated March 13, which the daily received a copy, indicated the step is along the lines of Civil Service Council’s decision no.13/2007 regarding the rules and regulations governing the nationalization of jobs in public sector and the commitment of concerned government authorities to cut down the number of non-Kuwaitis by 15 percent annually.
