Indian Bootlegger caught

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 10: An unidentified Indian bootlegger who was caught in Mangaf by the Ahmadi police has been handed over to the concerned authorities, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the man was found in possession of 21 bottles of locally manufactured booze. According to the daily, the man tried in vain to escape from the area after seeing a police car.

Meanwhile, an unidentified Indian has filed a complaint with the Salmiya Police Station accusing ‘someone’ of breaking into his apartment in Salmiya and stealing KD 780 and his belongings, reports Al-Rai daily. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the suspect. And, police are looking for an unidentified woman for stealing an expensive watch worth KD 6,000 from a famous shop in Salmiya, reports Al-Shahed daily.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the thief after the legal representative of the company filed a complaint with the area police station.
