Kuwait Customs Thwarts Smuggling of 1,188 Johnnie Walker Whiskey Bottles

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 12: Customs officials successfully intercepted a large quantity of liquor concealed in a container originating from an Asian country, thanks to their vigilant monitoring. This operation is part of the ongoing efforts by the General Administration of Customs to combat the smuggling of narcotics and contraband.

The Customs Search and Investigation Department suspected the container and conducted a thorough inspection in coordination with the Inspection and Customs Warehouse Control at Shuwaikh Port. Their efforts led to the discovery of approximately 1,188 bottles of alcohol hidden within the container. Necessary measures were promptly taken against the illegal shipment.
