Girl attempts suicide

KUWAIT CITY, March 26: A girl was rushed to Adan Hospital after attempting to commit suicide by cutting her left wrist in her family’s house in Ahmadi Governorate, reports Al-Jarida daily. Investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances that prompted the girl to try to take her own life.

Another suicide attempt was reported in Hawally Governorate. The security authorities took action immediately after the publication of a post on Al-Balagh website about a girl who allegedly took several pills in an attempt to kill herself. Investigations are underway to unravel the truth behind the online post.
