Zain company cancels drama show

KUWAIT CITY, April 8: Zain Company has announced the cancellation of the theatrical show, “”, out of commitment and respect for the instructions of the competent authorities affirming its adherence to the values and morals that the Kuwaiti people adhere to, and to fully support the political leadership in confronting everything that might harm the country, reports Al-Qabas daily. The company issued an official statement as follows: “Concerning the letter of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters on April 7, 2024 addressed to the company producing the theatrical work, ‘fiZein Al-Zaman’, regarding the competent committee‘s nom-approval of the play to be shown to the public, this is because the Ministry of Information referred the writer and some actors to the Public Prosecution for their participation in a television series that contravened the values and morals of Kuwaiti society. “As the Mobile Telecommunications Company (Zain) affirms its adherence to the values and morals that Kuwaiti people have established, and in full support of the political leadership in confronting everything that might harm the State of Kuwait; we extend to our dear audience our deep regret and apology for canceling the theatrical show, ‘fiZein Al-Zaman’c “in compliance with and respect for the instructions of the competent authorities. “We are grateful for your trust and support for us in the interest of the nation. Details and the mechanism for refunding the payment for reserved tickets will be announced soon, in coordination with the Arena Kuwait management.”
