Kuwaiti teacher assaulted by a colleague

KUWAIT CITY, April 30: A Kuwaiti teacher of a school in Capital Governorate assaulted and hit his colleague, which prompted the latter to file a case of assault, beating, threats and insults against the former, reports Al- Seyassah daily. According to security sources, a Kuwaiti teacher reported to the police that he was beaten, threatened, and insulted by a colleague in the same school where he works. Accordingly, a case was filed against him and referred to investigations.

Also, a Kuwaiti woman informed the police that her brother was beaten by a Kuwaiti teacher in his school and said “hurtful” to him in front of his colleagues and students. Accordingly, the complaint was referred to the community police, and as a result, the teacher was detained in the police station pending the two cases. The sources indicated that the teacher attempted to commit suicide in the classroom and was contained and referred to forensic for testing. He was then referred to psychiatry. They revealed that investigations are underway to find out the reasons for the teacher assaulting his colleague of the same school.
