Kuwait mourns the demise of renowned writer Dr. Naji Al-Zaid

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 1: The General Secretariat of the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Literature is deeply saddened by the passing of writer Dr. Naji Al-Zaid, which occurred on Monday. In an official statement, the General Secretariat conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Minister of Information, Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, and Chairman of the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Literature, Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi. The Council extends condolences to the family and admirers of the late Dr. Al-Zaid, praying for divine strength, comfort, and eternal peace for the departed soul.

Acknowledging Dr. Al-Zaid as a distinguished figure in Kuwaiti and Arab cultural circles, the Council recognizes his significant contributions during his tenure as a faculty member at Kuwait University’s Faculty of Medicine.
