KUWAIT CITY, Jan 27: Egypt’s Minister of Civil Aviation, Lt General Younis El Masri, has announced a 50 percent reduction in freight charges for the remains of Egyptians who die overseas, reports Al- Rai daily The chairman of Egypt Air Cargo, Basem Jouhar said the cost of transporting the remains is 500 Euros which is 5,000 Egyptian pounds after the reduction which is equivalent to about 85 dinars. “Egypt Air was keen to set a 25 percent reduction in the cost of transporting the dead in previous periods as part of the company’s role towards foreign workers,” he added.
