KUWAIT CITY, May 1: The Public Prosecution ordered the detention of a Kuwaiti citizen on charges of joining a banned organization and planning terrorist acts inside the country. The prosecution said in a statement that the accused published visual and audio recordings of the organization’s activities and news on social media in support of it. He also learned how to make explosives, and incited other defendants to do the same with the aim of blowing up camps belonging to the US Armed Forces. The Public Prosecution interrogated the accused and confronted him with the charges against him, to which he confessed. It also ordered the arrest of other accused. Investigation procedures are being completed.
