KUWAIT CITY, Jan 22: Kazma Club has officially inked a deal with Nigerian midfielder Benjamin Teddy, securing his services until the conclusion of the ongoing season. Teddy, born in 1994, brings a wealth of experience from his professional stints in Georgia, where he clinched the league title twice with Dinamo Batumi. His previous affiliations include Gagra, Lanchkhuti Municipality, Marnoli, Imereti Khoni, and Martvili in Georgia, as well as a professional tenure with Liepaja in Latvia. This acquisition comes in the wake of the departure of Brazilian Douglas Vale, who fell short of meeting the club’s expectations.

Kazma’s current roster features Guinean professional Tony Silva, Jordanian Ahmed Arsan, and Palestinian Michel Milad. Notably, the club has decided to part ways with Algerian defender Imad Eddine Ezzi. On another front, there are indications that Al-Qadisiya defender Abdul Rahman Al-Daihani is on the verge of joining Kazma, responding to the coach Muhammad Dehelis’s request. This move aims to compensate for Ezzi’s exit and addresses rumors surrounding Milad’s potential departure.

Dehelis is diligently preparing his team for the upcoming challenges, with Kazma set to face Burgan in the preliminary round of the Amir Cup competition next Sunday. Meanwhile, Al-Qadisiya’s Tunisian striker, Youssef Bin Souda, finds himself excluded from the technical staff’s plans led by coach Dr. Mohamed Al-Mashaan. The team is currently exploring various CVs to secure a suitable alternative capable of meeting their requirements.

Bin Souda’s performance with Al-Qadisiya has fallen short of expectations since his arrival last August. In a related development, the Al-Qadisiya delegation is returning from a preparatory camp held in Manama, Bahrain. The camp aimed to ready the team for the resumption of local activities, with Al-Qadisiya  scheduled to meet Yarmouk in the preliminary round of the Amir Cup competition next Saturday. During their time in Manama, the team played three friendly matches, concluding with a 5-3 victory against Al-Khalidiya. While facing challenges against Bahraini clubs Busaiteen and Al-Riffa, losing 0-1 and 1-6, respectively, Al-Qadisiya is gearing up for training and an internal camp in anticipation of the clash with Yarmouk.
