MUMBAI, India, April 14: Earlier today, a troubling incident unfolded outside the Mumbai home of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. At approximately 5 am on April 14, 2024, two unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle fired several rounds into the air outside Salman’s residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. The brazen act prompted swift action from the Mumbai Police, who immediately launched an investigation to apprehend the perpetrators.

The gunfire has reignited concerns regarding the safety and security of Salman Khan, particularly in light of previous threats directed at the actor. Notably, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had previously identified Salman as a prime target due to an incident dating back to 1998 involving the alleged hunting of a black buck. Following Bishnoi’s threats, Mumbai Police elevated Salman Khan’s security status to Y+.

Reacting to the incident, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Anand Dubey criticized the security measures and law enforcement in Mumbai and Maharashtra. He called upon authorities to address safety concerns not only for celebrities like Salman Khan but also for the general public.
