Crackdown on unpasteurized dairy sales

KUWAIT CITY, April 15: The Environment Public Authority (EPA) is coordinating with the Ministry of Health to provide a direct line for the public to report farms selling unpasteurized dairy products to protect citizens and expatriates from Brucella, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources. Sources told the daily that the authority took this step after discovering some farms are selling unpasteurized dairy products, which expose consumers to the risk of contracting Brucellosis. Sources said the two entities are in the process of organizing a public awareness campaign on how to report any farm that sells such products
