Al-Arabi prepares for the league with a decisive friendly win over Al-Fahaheel

KUWAIT CITY, April 21: Al-Arabi displayed dominance over Al-Tadamon in a recent friendly match, securing a resounding victory with seven unanswered goals. The game served as crucial preparation for Al-Arabi ahead of their upcoming fixture against Al-Fahaheel in the fourth round of Zain Premier League matches scheduled for next Saturday.

The goals for Al-Arabi, known as Al-Akhdar, came from Hamza Khaba, who netted a hat-trick, alongside contributions from Anayo Iwala, Ayman Sfaxi, Saif Al-Hashan, and Walid Sabar.

Under the guidance of coach Nasser Al-Shatti, the technical staff ensured the readiness of the players for the league’s resumption. Players like Saif Al-Hashan, Iwala, and Sultan Al-Anazi, who participated in the match, underwent intensive training programs to regain match fitness following their recovery from injuries.

During the league’s suspension, Coach Nasser Al-Shatti focused on enhancing the team’s physical fitness by intensifying morning and evening training sessions. Currently, Al-Arabi holds the second position in the league standings with 47 points, trailing behind leaders Kuwait Club with 50 points.

Meanwhile, Al-Fahaheel announced the renewal of Ivorian professional Ado Robben’s contract, confirming his continuation with the team for the upcoming season. Robben joined Al-Fahaheel at the beginning of the current season from Al-Nasr, following a successful stint with Al-Annabi.

Under the leadership of Khaled Abdul Quddus, Al-Fahaheel Club and its football team are actively working to finalize the professional roster, aiming to establish stability in preparation for the forthcoming season.

Additionally, Al-Fahaheel extended the contract of Brazilian striker William Barros, with negotiations underway for the renewal of Brazilian player Vitor’s contract. Evaluation processes are ongoing for Brazilian player Julio Cesar and Syrian professional Nasuh Nakdali.
