No congestion at health insurance centers, workflow ‘smooth’ – MoH

13,000 transactions completed daily

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 29: Assistant Undersecretary for Legal Affairs at Ministry of Health Mohammad Al-Suba’ie affirmed that there is no congestion in the health insurance centers, reports Al-Anba daily. He explained that workflow in all such centers are ongoing smoothly, and nearly 13,000 transactions related to health insurance are completed daily. Al-Subai’e declared last week that the queues at the health insurance center has ended, reports Al-Anba daily.

He explained that all visitors completed their transactions on Wednesday due to which there will not be any congestion. The working hours have been extended to 12 hours per day – from 7:30 am to 7 pm. Al-Subai’e reassured expatriates by saying “From next week there will be no long queues or congestion. The work process will be carried out without delay”.

Earlier, Minister of Health Dr Bassel Al-Sabah held an extensive meeting with the officials of Public Services Company which offers services of registration and issuance of health insurance cards to expatriates, reports Al-Qabas daily.

During the meeting, he stressed the need to immediately end the suffering of the visitors. According to informed sources, the meeting was held at the ministry and lasted for nearly two hours.

They agreed on bringing an end to the problem of congestion at the health insurance centers through real solutions adopted by the company. They decided to increase the number of employees of the company and ministry, and launched computerized system in the ministry to complete as many transactions of citizens and residents as possible.
