Kuwait’s Minister of Health tested positive for coronavirus

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 6: The Kuwait Ministry of Health stated that the Minister of Health Dr. Khaled Al Saeed was infected with coronavirus after his swab was tested positive today morning. The Minister Dr Saeed will be under home quarantine according to the Health Ministry protocol and will continue his duty remotely. 

Meanwhile the COVID-19 Ministerial Emergency Committee held on Thursday a meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah. The meeting, held in Seif Palace, focused on the latest reports by health authorities concerning COVID-19 cases in the country.
