Kuwaiti charity opens school for Syrian refugees

The Kuwaiti Al-Najat Charity opened Friday a school for Syrian student refugees in Sanliurfa Province, southeastern Turkey.
Ibrahim Al-Bader, the Charity official in charge of this project, said during the opening ceremony that educational assistance for the Syrian refugees will continue, in cooperation with Turkish concerned bodies.
He added that the school offers educational services to 700 Syrian male and female students, pointing out that this is the second school built by Al-Najat Charity in south of Turkey; the first is set in Hatay Province. The number of Syrian student refugees sponsored by Al-Najat is 2,700.
The school opening ceremony was attended by Turkish educational officials. (KUNA)
