Amir- “Devote all capabilities to secure and ensure the safety of all people in Kuwait in combating the coronavirus”

KUWAIT, March 14 : Directives by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to devote all capabilities to secure and ensure the safety of all people in Kuwait in combating the coronavirus, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Interior, and Chairman of the Civil Defense Committee, Anas Al-Saleh said Saturday.

This came in a statement Saturday, following a meeting of the Civil Defense Committee to discuss the developments of the emerging coronavirus, in the presence of leaders of the Ministries of Defense, Interior, National Guard, Education and other concerned authorities.

Al-Saleh stressed that His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, is closely following the developments of the health situation, moment by moment, and the strenuous efforts made by the ministries. Al-Saleh urged citizens and residents to abide by the decisions of the extraordinary cabinet meeting last Wednesday, which are primarily in their interest and aim mainly at their safety. (KUNA)
